During the latter half of 2007 we have decided to change the interior of our Church.

Why did we do this?

Well, with the church it was, when the Celebrant went to the Altar then half of the congregation could not see what was happening. Because of this we decided to bring the Altar into the body of the Church. To do this we built a raised dias in the nave of the Church and put the Altar on that. Now everyone can see the whole of the service and the Celebrant does not disappear at the most important part of the service.

What else? Well, the new Altar rail is detachable so if we do any concerts in Church now, we have a ready built stage. The Chancel, where the Altar used to be, can now be used a a small chapel. We can hold smaller services here and it can be a place of quiet in the Church.

The font is now at the front of the Church and can now be used in all it's glory.

We have a new upgraded sound system wit much better microphones and CD capability.

We feel that the Church is now much more 'friendly' than before. Below are a few pictures that were taken during the changes.
